報告題目：Partnering in Technology Development & Transfer - How to Work with CLIB2021
報 告 人：Dr. Manfred Kircher
Manfred Kircher chairs the Advisory Boards of CLIB2021 and KADIB. Based on more than 30 years experience in chemical industry and bioeconomy he works on regional as well as international bioeconomy strategies. His career milestones are biotechnological research and development (Degussa AG, Germany), production (Fermas s.r.o.; Slovakia), venture capital (Burrill & Company; USA) and biotechnology partnering and branding (Evonik Industries AG; Germany). Delegated by Evonik he chaired till 2012 the Board of the Cluster Industrial Biotechnology (CLIB2021 e.V.; Germany) and developed this association of German and international industries, small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), academia and investors to an recognized organisation for unfolding bioeconomical value chains.
In CLIB2021 more than 100 leading companies and R&D institutions join forces to solve one of the world’s urgent issues: Replacing fossil by bio-based carbon sources and going in the circular economy.
This is at first a whole set of technological challenges in providing and transforming sustainable feedstock and further processing the resulting intermediates. Second it is an economical challenge because new technologies are competing with the established fossil based. Because of this complexity implementing new value chains is a challenge too big for one company and too big for one nation. Therefore CLIB2021 reaches out to partner with China and QIBEBT.
This presentation will present cooperation models and will discuss how to work with CLIB2021.
